Our GP’s and nurses offer comprehensive health and wellbeing assessments for women.
These include fertility issues, menstrual health, cardiovascular health and menopause.
Contraception
Our GP’s can help and advise you regarding the many contraception options available to, and suitable for you. We also insert and remove Implanon, Mirena Coil and Jaydess Coil.

Free Contraception Scheme
Under the scheme, prescription and emergency contraception is now from the day of their 17th birthday until the day before their 36th birthday. This includes contraceptive pills, patches and long-acting contraception including coils, injections and implants. If you are interested in availing of this scheme, make an appointment to see a doctor.

Men’s Health
We offer assessments of all aspects of health pertaining to men.
This includes cardiovascular and respiratory health as well as blood pressure, weight management and mental health.
We also can advise and manage dietary issues, smoking cessation and sports injuries.
Pregnancy Care
The Pregnancy Care Scheme is a state scheme which cares for the pregnant woman and her baby from confirmation of pregnancy up to and including 2 visits for the baby after they are born
If you discover you are pregnant, we recommend you contact your GP to confirm your pregnancy and get enrolled on the scheme.
Immunisations
Our nurse delivers vaccinations as per the Childhood Immunisation Schedule. An appointment for your child can be made by contacting reception.
We also deliver annual flu vaccine for at risk groups. Pneumococcal vaccine is also available.
Pregnant women should also discuss vaccinations with one of our clinical team which are available to them.
Shingrix (Shingles) Vaccine
Now available in our practice. This vaccine requires two doses. Please contact reception for information on cost or to book for vaccination.
Skin, Acne & Minor Surgery
Dr. George Roberts has a special interest in skin and dermatology.
A number of minor surgeries can also be carried out at Beaumont Park Clinic following consultation with our doctors.
Roaccutane
We are now offering a specialised Roaccutane service for treating acne. Please contact reception for further information.
Travel & Health
Travel Vaccination can be arranged prior to worldwide travel.
We recommend you contact the nurse to discuss your destination well in advance or your trip in order to ensure you are adequately vaccinated in good time.
Occupational Health
Beaumont Park Clinic provides pre-employment health assessments, medical reports and medical questionnaires for companies and businesses.

Blood Tests
Blood tests can be arranged following consultation with your doctor.
If you require blood tests for a private consultant, please discuss with our reception team.
Blood tests are available 8:30-12:30 only each day.
Alternatively, blood tests can be performed in Beaumont Hospital by direct arrangement with the Phlebotomy Department in the hospital, once ordered by your doctor.
Following your blood test (in the clinic or in the hospital) please contact your doctor 7 days afterwards for your results.
Family Planning
Our GP’s are available to discuss any aspects of family planning.
This includes pre-pregnancy counselling, fertility issues and all aspects of contraception amongst others.
We can organise preliminary fertility investigations in the clinic. Please contact the GPs regarding this.
Cervical Check
Women and anyone with a cervix between the age of 25 and 65 should available of the free National Cervical Screening Programme.
Age 25-29: screening every 3 years
Age 30-65: screening every 5 years
Please contact reception to book for your free test when due.

We can also arrange for screening tests for sexually transmitted infections and treatment of these should it be required.

Chronic Diseases
Chronic disease management is an essential part of primary care.
We manage many chronic diseases including asthma, COPD, diabetes and cardiovascular disease amongst many other.

Smoking cessation advice and treatment.
Sexual Health / PrEP
We provide help, support and advice on all aspects of Sexual Health.
We can also arrange for screening tests for sexually transmitted infections and treatment of these should it be required.
